While Lord  Shiva was recounting  to Parvati the secret of creation in a cave in Amarnath, a pair of doves eavesdropped on this conversation and having learnt the holy secret, are reborn again and again, and have made the cave their eternal abode. The annual yatra to Holy Amarnath Cave, situated at 14000 ft. above sea level, is organised by the Jammu & Kashmir State Government during the month of July and August. The intending pilgrims are allowed to perform darshan from Ashard Purnimashi to Shravan Purnimashi which course spreads over a month or so.

Amarnath Yatra Package Detail

Day 01 : Srinagar - Sonmarg

Arrive Srinagar & transfer by vehicle from Srinagar Airport to  Sonmarg/Baltal. Overnight at Sonmarg/Baltal.

Day 02 : Sonmarg – Baltal - Srinagar

After breakfast proceed for  Baltal Helipad.  Take Helicopter from Baltal to Panjtarni followd by a 6 Kms journey by Pony, horse or walk to reach to holy cave of Amarnathji. After darshan return  to  Panjtarni  by Walk, Horse or Palki. Take helicopter from Panjtarni to Baltal. Transfer from Baltal to Srinagar by vehicle.  (Stay at Srinagar)

Day 03 : Srinagar

After  breakfast enjoy half day excursion to Shrinagar. Dinner and overnight at houseboat.

Day 04 : Shrinagar-Delhi

After  breakfast depart for Shrinagar Airport.
